Hitchhiker and Finds

If in the process of checking the boxes you placed, you discover a Hitchhiker has been left in the letterbox.
Do you count that as a find, or did you not *notice* it?

Hi,
I think that if people find a hitchhiker in their own letterbox, they should stamp in and count it as a find, but leave it for the next letterboxer to find.  There is nothing more disappointing than reading that a hitchhiker was there, but taken by someone just checking on the box.

Just my opinion on the subject,
Melissa

I agree with Melissa- that's how I do it, stamp in,
call it a find but leave it for someone else to find.
Hey, if nothing else they'll think your box is even
more fun! Can't beat that with a stick! ;o)

I found a few Hitch Hikers that way. I stamp them,
count them, and move them to another box....Chuck &
Molly
